A range of REAL opportunities for local people to either rent or buy new homes in the north of the borough will soon be available, as REAL, the regeneration arm of Rydon Construction and part of the Lavender Housing Partnership, has started work on three new schemes.

These homes will bring opportunities for people to buy or rent homes in an area that until recently has seen very little new development.  Each of the schemes is able to offer something a little different; from excellent travel links, fantastic recreational facilities or a touch of history in this ‘Beacon status for Better Public Places’. 

The new schemes are designed by award winning architect Pollard Thomas Edwards and are: 

Sydney Road – in a good central location very close to local shops and to West Sutton station with its excellent links to London, will be a range of studio, one and two bedroom apartments for sale and two and three bedroom houses for affordable rent. 

Middleton Road – located near to good leisure and recreational facilities and the newly refurbished Middleton Library, new homes here will comprise studio, one and two bedroom apartments for sale. 

Malllinson Road – with Beddington village on the doorstep and excellent shops close by, this scheme also benefits from its close proximity to Beddington Park.  Seven two bedroom houses for affordable rent are being developed here.
