Real Places
At REAL we understand the concept of regeneration. In London or any other city, it’s not just about replacing old buildings with new ones. It’s about creating new environments where real communities can thrive for generations to come.
Whenever we are planning a development of new homes, we work closely with existing local residents to ensure we are taking everyone’s views and needs into account. Our resident liaison officers interact with the local community through a series of consultation days, exhibitions, user group meetings, community workshops and community days. In some cases, liaison officers are actually drawn from the communities they are dealing with, through local employment and training initiatives.
REAL communities are about so much more than houses or apartments. They provide safe places for children to play and facilities for people to meet socially, not to mention room to breathe, with green open spaces for strolling or just enjoying some quiet time. We also carefully consider local facilities for travelling to and from work.
